2024 Community Service Highlights
Our guild had a busy and fulfilling year in 2024! Thanks to the generosity and hard work of our members, we were able to share comfort, warmth, and love with many in our community.
Here’s what we accomplished together:

Organizations We Are Committed to Serving in 2025
Our guild is dedicated to using our quilting skills to bring warmth, comfort, and encouragement to those in need. In 2025, we will continue serving several outstanding organizations in our community and beyond:
Abigail’s Arms – A Cooke County Family Crisis Center whose mission is to create a safe future by empowering families and driving change through education and awareness. The center offers an emergency hotline, therapy and case management, emergency shelter, and child advocacy for families in crisis.
Caring Quilts / 911 Quilts – Given to families who have lost their homes to fire or other disasters, offering comfort in the midst of hardship.
Medal of Honor Quilts – Presented to Military Medal of Honor recipients as a gesture of gratitude for their courageous service to our country.
Day 1 Bags – In support of the “Adopt a High School Senior from Foster Care” campaign, Day 1 Bags honors Texas CPS foster youth graduating from high school. Each graduate receives a handmade twin-size quilt and matching pillowcase in gender-neutral colors and designs. Our guild will sponsor eight seniors this year, creating quilt and pillowcase sets to celebrate their achievement and brighten their new beginning.
All Babies Born Alive - ABBA Women's Center is a pregnancy center in Gainesville is equipped with state of the art ultrasound equipment along with caring professionals who provide guidance and loving advice regarding baby and the serious choices mothers may be facing.
