Thank you for visiting our website!

Feel free to look around, or join us at a guild meeting. We meet the 2nd Monday of each month at the Methodist Church at 214 S. Denton Street in  Gainesville, Texas.  Fellowship time is at 6:30 with the formal meeting starting at 7:00 p.m.

Our Community Service Projects this year start with Day1 Bags and Quilts for Foster Care High School Seniors.  Our ongoing projects are for - Abagails Arms, CPS/CASA  Adoption Quilts and our 911 Quilts.  Be sure to join us in serving our Community.

  • 2024 programs

    May 13th - Sharon and Loren Wilhelm of Quilt Ideas.  Sharon will be presenting a trunk show called “Box of 96 Crayons”.  Loren will have wood products for quilters for sale as well.

    June 10th - Lori Snyder and Jane Voge from Kaleidoscope Quilt Shop will present a program on “What to do with Orphan Quilt Blocks”.

    July 8th - Leslie and Rochelle the Inappropriate Quilters Pod Cast team will be at the meeting doing their PodCast.  Should be fun!

    August 12th - Michael Davison of Michael Quilts will be presenting “What’s the Big Deal About Paper Piecing?”  His focus, as a Judy Niemeyer Instructor in training, will be on her newest quilt designs.  Michael will even have some “Judy” quilts to show.

    September 9th - Happy Birthday to CTQG!  A fun birthday party with all the trimmings!

    October 14th - It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Come join the fun as we construct heart pillows for breast cancer patients.  We will have stations set up to cut, sew, stuff and fluff and finish.  Pillows will be donated to Texas Oncology in Denison.

    November 11th - Susan Brown the inventor of the “Binding Tool” will be here from Kansas for two days to present a program called “what to do with left over fabrics” and then the following day there will be opportunity to attend a class at the LK Lodge and receive a binding tool plus a pattern of your choice.  Watch for more details.

    December 9th - Merry Christmas to all!  Join us for our annual Christmas party.
